Welcome aboard the adventure with the Chocoporridge Teddy…
Indeed, we have some mommies in Malinca team and because they wanted to offer their children something good, but still healthier than the classic sweet chocolate porridges from the shops, they went hunting for the mysterious Chocoporridge Teddy …
They heard a rumour that the Chocoporridge Teddy knows the secret of the perfect meal for both the small and tall.
And when they finally found the teddy…
When they finally found the Chocoporridge Teddy, this is what he told them:
"I truly know the cocoa secret, organic oats are the fancy treatment. Coconut sugar adds the perfect flavour, making this porridge is my favourite labour."
And the Malinca mummy squad was thrilled.
Since a healthy and organic meal is something that all mummies like to offer their children, they were quick to take the Chocoporridge Teddy into Malinca's team to prep up delicious oatmeal with cocoa.
Why did the Chocoporridge Teddy decide for oatmeal?
The Chocoporridge Teddy is a real bookworm, reading and researching for days on end and always making new plans. So he also read about oats and learnt a whole lot…
He found that oats have long been a well-known and nutritious food that contains a lot of soluble as well as insoluble dietary fibre. In the study Dietary Fiber and Satiety: The Effects of Oats on Satiety, he read that oats contain the well-known fibre beta glucan that keeps your hunger at bay. Oats were once given mainly to animals and according to an old saying, a grain that in England is fed to the horses, and in Scotland to the people, which is why England has such fine horses, and Scotland has such fine people.
And, naturally, the Chocoporridge Teddy wants to be fine as well…
For all his adventures, the Chocoporridge Teddy needs strength, stamina and a clear and sharp mind, so every day he makes himself some special porridge with oatmeal, to which he adds organic fresh cocoa, and a dash of organic coconut to add that caramel sweetness. To top it off, he adds one more secret ingredient that makes his meal so fluffy and deliciously enjoyable. Its secret is a special root, called cognac glucomannan. The Chocoporridge Teddy says that it is a natural fibre, which makes the Chocoporridge look like a fluffy cloud.
Since Teddy is a friendly chap and knows what kids love, he was more than happy to share his secret recipe with us. This is how excellent oatmeal was created, bearing his name- Chocoporridge.
Oatmeal with cocoa Chocoporridge is:
Excellent nutritional composition
Organic Chocoporridge oatmeal contains a special fibre called beta-glucans.
Beta-glucans contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.
The beneficial effect is achieved by a daily intake of 3 g of beta-glucans from oats, oat bran, barley, barley bran or a mixture of these beta-glucans. Chocoporridge oatmeal therefore provides an exceptional added value that will delight children and adults alike.
But that's not all ...
With 14.31 g of dietary fibre and 11.97 g of protein per 100 g of product, Chocoporridge oatmeal is also a source of dietary fibre and a source of protein. This excellent Chocoporridge oatmeal not only impresses with the fact that it is organically produced, but also with its excellent taste and superior nutritional composition.
The taste of chocolate for the small, as well as the tall, completely guilt-free.
Ordinary porridge and cocoa often contain refined sugar and cocoa, which are heavily sweetened, making the kids quickly fall for such products, as they’re so easy to get tempted with a sweet taste. Yet it is true, however, that these options are not always the healthiest for our kids.
Following the Chocoporridge Teddy’s advice, we only added a bit of coconut sugar, which is a great alternative to white cane sugar and various syrups. We didn't sweeten the cocoa either. Namely, we added fresh cocoa, which is extremely aromatic and tasty and in its natural form has all the nutrients that processed cocoa can no longer contain.
What our children eat is our responsibility…
Parents are the ones who set an example and also present healthier, yet tasty meals to children - Andreja, Anja, Alja and Mateja aka the whole Malinca mummy squad are anonymous in this – and Malinca Aleš, a proud daddy of two little boys, also agrees. When he cooked them the Chocoporridge oatmeal with cocoa, they both gave him a big thumbs up for his daddy-cooking skills. Yes, even dads can score extra points as easy as that ;)
The Chocoporridge Teddy adds: “For a morning of play and sharp mind that will stay, a bowl of Chocoporridge will make your day."

The porridge is suitable for children from 1 year of age onwards and can be enjoyed by all age groups. Even adults.
What is the consistency of Chocoporridge?
Chocoporridge is a fluffy porridge that is quite similar in structure to soft oatmeal with chocolate. When the Malinca kids tried it, they all gave the structure as well as the taste a golden buzzer.
Isn’t coconut sugar also sugar?
Organic coconut sugar is a special coconut speciality with a delicate caramel taste and is an excellent sweetener for anyone who likes to follow a balanced and healthier diet. Coconut sugar is much less processed than refined white sugar and therefore contains more nutrients.
Is cognac glucomannan which is added to Chocoporridge the same as cognac?
No, don't be fooled by the name. Cognac glucomannan has absolutely nothing to do with an alcoholic beverage of the same name. This is a fibre-rich root with positive properties. Glucomannan has a high content of dietary fibre (65 %). Dietary fibre helps maintain normal digestive function and has a beneficial effect on the digestive system. It's an important part of a balanced diet so it is great in combination with oat fibre.
