Organic spirulina (in tablets) is a blue-green chlorophyll algae with a high protein content. The blue-green color is due to chlorophyll (green) and phycocyanin (blue) in the cell structure. It is one of the oldest life forms on Earth. It is a simple single-cell variety of blue-green prokaryotes. These began supplying our planet with oxygen some 3.6 billion years ago. Blue-green algae were the ones starting to build the Earth's atmosphere that makes life on Earth possible today.
Its name is derived from the Latin word spiralo, referring to its shape. Spirulina grows in saline and alkaline water with a high pH. Such an environment is fairly inhospitable and, with the exception of spirulina, few living organisms survive in it. It grows best in temperatures ranging from 35 to 40 degrees. In the cold, the spirulina straightens, but when it is warm, it goes back to its spiral shape.

Take 2 tablets twice a day (in total 2g spirulina per day) with a glass of water or fresh juice alongside breakfast and lunch. When taking spirulina, it is important to drink enough liquids (water, tea) - at least 300 ml per 10 kg of body weight a day. This will aid in detoxicating the body.
For your pet: Spirulina tablets can be crushed and mixed in pet food. This way, your pet will get a lot of extra vitamins and minerals, especially if their diet consists of dry food.
