Back to nature ...
We all sweat, and nowadays, wearing deodorant is as common as washing our hands. Everyone knows the feeling of forgetting to put on deodorant on a hot day...
The smell that starts to spread may not be pleasant, but it's natural, and there's a natural way to fight natural odour - by using a natural deodorant like the tea tree deodorant from Malinca.
But using deodorant is not a new invention ...
The use of fragrances, essential oils and scented waxes used to be the domain of the wealthier classes. The Egyptians were already concerned with repelling bad smells, and much later European courts were famous for using strong perfumes and fragrances to mask body odours.
Then came the 1888 ...
1888 was the year that marked the world's first product designed to apply to armpits and banish the odours caused by perspiration.
Today, there are a good number of products available, and natural products that don't clog pores or stop sweating, but give the body a chance to continue working naturally, are becoming more and more popular.
Because of all the benefits that such a deodorant offers, Malinca has decided to develop a product that is not just natural, but 100% natural, and that will delight anyone who wants to take care of themselves in a gentle but effective way.
We have added the well-known tea tree, famous for its slightly medicinal herbal scent, which is ideal for use in a natural deodorant to banish unpleasant odours.
Malinca's 100% natural tea tree deodorant is:

More about ingredients…
Cocos Nucifera Oil – Coconut oil contains lauric acid and stays solid up to 24 degrees. Its properties make it an excellent ingredient in natural deodorants. The skin is nourished and soft.
Zea Mays Starch – corn starch helps to naturally absorb fluids such as water and fat or sweat.
Euphorbia Cerifera Cera – candelillaa wax is a wax extracted from a Mexican plant, and the wax protects it from the desert heat. It serves as an excellent binder, which at the same time provides care.
Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter – cocoa butter is obtained by pressing cacao and has a skin-nourishing texture. It contains various fatty acids and is often used to treat dry and irritated skin.
Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil – Hydrogenated vegetable oil is an oil that has been made into a solid form. It gives structure to the product and contains fatty lipids.
Sodium Bicarbonate – Baking soda extends the shelf life of the product and protects it against bacteria, yeasts and mould. At the same time, it absorbs liquids and fats.
Oryza Sativa Bran Oil – Like many other vegetable oils, rice bran oil acts as an emollient and contains nutrients and fatty acids.
Squalane – squalane is most commonly derived from olives and is the same as that found in human sebum. It acts as an emollient and creates a protective layer on the skin.
Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil – Macadamia oil contains a lot of the rare palmitoleic acid, which gives it its "velvety" texture. It is also easily absorbed and makes the skin soft.
Tocopherol – Vitamin E has become a must-have in quality cosmetics. It is a fat-soluble vitamin that takes care of both the product itself and the skin.
Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil – Sunflower oil is an oil that we like to think of as something common. But it's not quite like that. It is a non-comedogenic oil rich in linolenic acid.
Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil – Tea tree essential oil is known for its almost medicinal fresh herbal scent and is rumoured to be so important that Australian soldiers in World War II had it as a mandatory part of their equipment.
Limonene – a natural fragrance that can be found in a variety of oils such as orange oil, mandarin oil, coriander oil, and even camphor wood oil. It has a soft scent that is a mild blend of lavender with citrus notes.

What is the difference between a deodorant and an antiperspirant?
Deodorants are formulated to reduce underarm odour, but they do not reduce sweating itself. When applied, they acidify the skin, making it less attractive to bacteria that would otherwise flourish on it. Deodorants also often contain essential oils to reduce odour.
Antiperspirants, on the other hand, usually contain aluminium-based or other compounds that temporarily block or clog sweat pores. This means that we can't sweat as much, and with no sweat, there's not as much chance of bacteria developing to cause body odours.
Is Malinca's deodorant an antiperspirant?
No, Malinca's deodorant is not an antiperspirant, which means it does not clog pores. The mechanism of action is related to the absorbency of the ingredients, the pH-balancing of the skin and the natural fragrances.
Does natural the deodorant contain aluminium?
Our natural deodorant does not contain aluminium as it is a completely natural product containing only the natural ingredients listed above.
From what age can I use 100% natural deodorant?
Deodorant is suitable from the age of 13, when people start to sweat more due to puberty.
Is it suitable for men and women?
The deodorant has a neutral scent suitable for both genders, so it is suitable for both men and women.
Is it a vegan product?
The product is completely vegan as it contains only plant-based ingredients.
How does the Natural Deodorant work if it doesn't stop sweating?
The deodorant is natural and doesn't stop sweating, but it contains ingredients that absorb sweat, leaving you feeling dry and fresh. It also contains ingredients that fight odours in a natural way, while also leaving your skin pleasantly scented.
Can pregnant women use deodorant?
Natural deodorant can also be used by pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers as it is mild and gentle.
