Millet porridge with apples
Millet porridge with apples and cottage cheese is a great idea for dessert, snack or as a healthy breakfast. It is also suitable for diabetics.
INGREDIENTS:
First layer:
* 120 g of millet porridge
* 1 egg
Second layer:
* 250 g cottage cheese
* 200 g skyr (Icelandic yoghurt)
* 1 egg
* 50 g of erythritol sweetener
Third layer:
* 1 large apple
* half a teaspoon of Ceylon cinnamon
* 30 g of erythritol sweetener
METHOD:
Preparation of the first layer: Cook the millet porridge according to the instructions and then rinse with cold water. Beat one egg with a fork and mix it with cooked millet porridge. Add sweetener to taste. Spread the millet evenly in bowls or on the bottom of a small baking dish and bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the second and third layers.
Take the baking tray with millet porridge out of the oven and spread the second and third layers evenly over the first layer. Bake for another 20 minutes.
Preparation of the second layer: Mix cottage cheese, skyr, egg and erythritol with a hand mixer.
Preparation of the third layer: Cut the apple into small pieces, add cinnamon and erythritol.
