Beef steaks in sauce

Soft beef steaks in the vegetable sauce are one of the Sunday lunch classics. They are excellent with mashed potatoes on the side and a large bowl of salad.

INGREDIENTS:
* 4 smaller beef steaks
* 3 onions
* 2 cloves garlic
* 1 zucchini
* 1 dl of white wine
* 3 dcl of water
* 2 tablespoons biogetta (veggie seasoning spice blend)
* 2 tablespoons mustard
* tablespoon tomato concentrate
* olive oil
* Himalayan salt and pepper
* mustard seeds
* a pinch of marjoram, thyme and chopped parsley
* Bay leaf

METHOD: Pound the steaks, spread them with mustard and season with salt and pepper. It pays off to do this a few hours before cooking. Put a little olive oil in the pan and quickly sear the steaks on both sides. Remove the steaks from the pan. Add the onion to the same pan and gently saute it. Add garlic, mustard seeds and fry. Return the steaks to the pan, pour water over them and add the biogetta. Cook for 15 minutes, then add the zucchini and tomato concentrate. Cook for another 30 minutes, then take the steaks out of the pan and mix the sauce with a hand blender. Place the steaks back to the sauce, pour in the wine and add the bay leaf, marjoram, thyme and parsley. Add salt if necessary. Cook for another 30 minutes or so long that the steaks become soft (depending on the meat).
